There are many sites on the topic, so if you can't remember who the main players are, google them up.

  • Morgan, Morgaine, Morgana, Moran Le Fey...she has so many names but you all know who i'm talking about...the dark ominous, omnipotent, ubiquitous...etc...fairy Goddess half sister of Arthur.
I actually didn't like Bradley's depiction of her in "Mists"...I thought she was too human and too vulnerable. I fell in love with the Fay when I was about 8 or 9 years old. She embodies so much feminine power and potency in general it's difficult not to love her!!
    • Morgaine is alos my favorite. But I disagree with Vashti's belief about Bradley's character. I believe that she tried to show a person who struggles with her beliefs and feelings. The internal conflict that faces all of us: is my Goddess truly there or is she but a figment of my imagination? The power of the craft is there for all of us to tap into and this is what the priestesses were using. They were just taught to call upon the power in Her name.

I adore Lady Elaine. I grew up reading Tennyson's "The Lady of Shalott" - it's my favorite piece of the cycle.
Just realized this thread has been dormant for a while. I'm new here - I'll introduce myself and stuff. :)
  • Thought this was an excellent place to de-lurk myself in this tribe...
My fav is probably Linnet- the blind girl, wronged. In my view she makes the tragedy of the Guinnevere-triangle seem pretty mild, but her story was one of great devotion and loyalty, as well as of chivalry, and what can happen when it goes awry or is mishandled.
    • I am going to be NOT out of the ordinary here and say that Guenevere is my favorite. I think moreso from reading the Guenevere Novels by Rosalind Miles. There is a strength..an inner and outer beauty....someone who believes in tradition and loyalty to her religion and to her husband, Arthur..but also is human, as her loyalty falters when true, undying love is found with someone other than... Yeah, I know that I am a bit of a romantic...and it's more of a tragic love-story, really. But none the less, Guenevere and the story of Camelot is my all time favorite.
